You should probably stay home from this ninja training.
If I were to ask Wii owners if they felt they needed another party, mini-game compilation title on their system, I wouldn't be too surprised if I received kindly slap in the face. But, it seems as though Electronic Arts and Nunchuck Games (a developer with a name seemed born just for this title) just haven't understood this message. They tried to give us a mini-game compilation title to woo us back into the genre that has been seriously oversaturated on this particular system.

Perhaps I am being unfair to EA and Nunchuck Games. It just may be that Ninja Reflex is the Bioshock of party games! Will it do to the genre what Irrational Games did to storytelling in video games?

In short, no. Not even close. Instead what we have is another slapped together, lazy attempt at taking money from the kids who will see a ninja on the cover and be drawn in by the "cool" factor. Some may say that since it is a budget title, coming in at an MSRP of $39.99 that is to be expected. But Ninja Reflex isn't even worth the discounted price. I can think of a lot better game related purchases for 40 bones.
