Wii Baseball
Wanna smash a few baseballs but don’t have anyone to pitch to you? Don’t feel like going to the batting cages? Then Wii Baseball might just be the next best thing. Again following the simplistic nature of other Wii Sports games, Wii Baseball is a game that only involves one thing. Smacking baseballs out of the park.
One of the cool things about Wii Baseball is that your on screen character will actually mimic your batting stance. So if you are holding the Wii-mote straight up and parallel to your head, it will transfer over to your little character at the plate.
All in all though, there really is not much to say about Wii Baseball. It is a simple game of Home Run Derby that you can play with your friends and try to beat each others score. While the E3 demo didn’t include anything other than batting, Katsuya Eguchi, the man in charge of the production of Wii Sports, has gone on record saying that there will be a versus mode with one player being the pitcher and the other being the batter. The pitcher will be able to throw fast balls or slow balls depending on how fast he moves his arm and will also be able to choose different kinds of pitches by holding down buttons on the Wii-mote.
