Wii Fanboy reports that Nintendo is planning to add yet another retro console to the Japanese Virtual Console line-up in the form of NEC's SuperGrafx, an upgraded version of the TurboGrafx-16.

However, as NWF points out, Nintendo won't be treating SuperGrafx games (of which there are only seven in existence) as being anything more than expensive (800 Wii Point) TurboGrafx games.

Regardless, the first such title to see release will be Dai Makaimura, better known as Ghouls 'n Ghosts in the West. Nintendo has yet to confirm whether any SuperGrafx games will be launched outside of Japan.
